In April 2009, Mark Berman, together with Les Small, formed LesMark, a commercial real estate advisory firm based in Los Angeles. Over his 20 year career specializing in office and industrial real estate, with an expanded focus on representing national and regional corporate companies, Mark has been the recipient of numerous local and national awards for outstanding performance on behalf of his clients.

Prior to co-founding LesMark, Mark was the Managing Director of the Los Angeles Office of UGL Equis, where he was responsible for the management and operations for the greater Los Angeles area. Under his leadership, the region grew from 8 employees to 28 in five years. Besides managing the Los Angeles region, Mark was consistently a top UGL Equis broker. In his second year with the large worldwide company, Mark already ranked as a "Top 5" broker and in 2007 and 2008 he was the 2nd and 3rd highest producer respectively for the company worldwide.

Before UGL Equis, Mark was the Executive Vice President of Coldwell Banker Commercial where he was a top producer for over 13 years. In 2001, he was elected as Director of the National Corporate Services Group, and in 2002, he was elected its Managing Director. From 2001 through 2004, Mark was Coldwell Banker Commercial’s “Top Producer” in the Los Angeles region, while also receiving international awards from Coldwell Banker Commercial for being a “Top 20” producer worldwide from over 4,300 agents for 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004.

Education/Certificates

B.A., Marketing/Finance, University of Houston. Mark graduated cum laude with department honors, was on the dean’s honor list in every year as an undergraduate and selected to Beta Gamma Sigma for the highest national scholastic achievement in collegiate schools of business and management.

Associations

Besides being an active member in various charitable organizations, Mark was the 2005-2007 Chairman of the Moriah Society, a prestigious Los Angeles real estate council with over 220 professional real estate members. Mark is also an Executive Member of the Los Angeles Real Estate Council (LACRA), and has served on the Board of Directors of the American Jewish University. Mark has been a volunteer soccer coach and All Star coach for AYSO for 17 years. In 2004 he founded Extreme Sports Camp (extremesportscamp.net) for adults, an annual event that has gained huge popularity over the years.
